Long day with a perfect ending: a gentle 9:30 kiss on the forehead of the fast asleep woman that I'll be spending the rest of my life with...... Which leads me to more strongly recognize that in 26 days my identity can only be fully expressed, understood, and explained by exploring the lives of my wife AND I as one, how beautiful is that????

One last good night kiss before Nick heads over to the Lueders' for the night! What a productive weekend!! We're going to need to work on the ' resting' part though... :)

After guacamole & chips, coors lite, flat bread with mango relish, sausage stuffed mushrooms and panini's I think it's safe to say that there was no room for ice cream tonight.  However the moment was shared with a warm embrace and an affectionate smile as we shut down our engines for the night in preparation for Saturday morning garage saling.......early bird gets the worm!

Trying to see how many seconds we can hold our mouths open before Benny comes to do what he's best at - big slobbery licks right in the kisser!  I'm not sure who won, but realistically we both loose in this game........or do we???? eh?

71 days until we're married!!!!!!
Just in case anybody was wondering......oh ya we have yet to tell people about our blog......consider it on the to-do list! :)
Anyways, Kris and I just finished up reading on the apartment deck.  For the first time in a while, we are currently reading the same book - Crazy Love by  Francis Chan.  Pretty solid so far!

Whooops, missed a few days! What a stunning 9:30 tonight! Packing up for South Carolina for James and Carols nuptial ceremony!  A beautiful reminder of just how special this time is as God prepares us for a life of love, commitment, and faith together.  I love you so much honey! :)

It's getting increasingly more difficult to share our 9:30 with the world as it has become a time of further remembering that we aren't together and miss each other immensely!  Despite the internal suffering, Kris is sound asleep (I swear she does more than sleep!) right now after a long but great day at work and an evening filled with fine cuisine and reading.  As for me, I'm drooling over a Kung Pow chicken dish made by the beautiful Mama D!  Gotta love Chinese home-cookin, a genre of food lacked a familiar presence in our household until we began hosting Andy, our long lost brother (technically our foreign exchange student)!

After a wildly successful phone interview, Kris is relishing in the comfort of a early evening rest - gearing up for tomorrow and attempting to sleep off what may be the onset of a new cold!  As for me, I'm enjoying the company of my good friend Big John as he cooks up a storm at his restaurant, Billy Macs.  Still having separation anxiety from my better half....

BIRTHDAY ICE CREAM!!!  Kristine and I were sporting our 12th and final phone conversation of the day as we remained both faithful and persistent in verbally revealing our birthday love for one another even at the expense of hypoperfusion!  I've been promised a N&K birthday celebration once we're back in Omaha together - the anticipation is bubbling hot! :)

It's not 930 and I'm breaking all the rules but I just need to say I'm stuck here in the midwest with nothing on my mind but the LOVE of my LIFE!!! I miss him more than anything and can't wait for his return and also the beginning of our lives together in less than 3 months!!!! :-)

.....This is Nick and I WAS awake for the 9:30 bliss this evening.......and Kris hit the emotion nail on the head tonight! Being apart from YOU is without a doubt the worst feeling in the world, but on the other hand it's an extraordinary reminder of just how fulfilling and invigorating life is when spent with my best friend, who happens to be the woman I will love for the rest of my life!  Honey, it's easy to be a bit soupy with you considering the fact that nobody actually reads our blog...........so know that I LOVE YOU SO MUCH........and Benny says ditto! :-)

I had the joy of celebrating 9:30 twice today! 1.) Central time 9:30 (when my watch went off) - Jeremy and I were driving to church while bumpin Soul Sister on the car stereo! Kris is dreaming about ice cream as she lay sound asleep gearing up for a cheerful week at work! 2.) Pacific Time 9:30 - Kris is still off in a dreamy world of delight as I sit here watching the only member of my family not afraid of big dogs (Jeremy) cuddle our precious little Benny! ......also I miss my sleeping beauty more than anything.....

Eeek! Almost a whole 24 hours late on the 930 update! (Hope you read that with the rhyme intended:)) Kristine here, and as for last night's 930...Nick and I were lightyears apart--him catching up on some awesome awesome Bryan and Becca time (can't wait till I can get in on that!!) and me just about to leave a coworker's birthday party to go home and pass out early from being so tired from the women's retreat the night before! Run on sentence? Perhaps. Anyhow, things are a little crazy right now as we're trying to figure out what the next 6 or so months are going to look like! More details in further 930s... :) As for now, just missing my other half and praying for his safe return soon! And happy time with family in the meantime :)

The taste of ice cream is rather bitter sweet tonight as we share our last kiss for a week or so. Nick and Benny head for the hills in the morning as they will be traveling to Oregon to visit the fam! Kristine is gearing up for a womens retreat for the weekend - should be a great experience!  But as for this moment, we lay cuddling enjoying a classic midwest storm! :)

As you can see from the time-stamp, we're a day behind - still trying to work out the kinks of writing a daily blog post...  Anyways, our 9:30 alarm was celebrated last night with Kristine laying flat on her face on the ground.......getting a nice massage from her best friend!  After a long day at work, a phone interview that essentially turned into an unofficial job offer, and the production of a PERFECT apple pie - a massage couldn't have come at a better time for her! As for me, giving the woman I love a massage was the least mentally taxing thing I've done all week, feels GREAT to be officially finished learning in the classroom - rotations here I come!

LAST NIGHT of STUDying!!! :) Kristine is currently sharing in some food and fellowship near my house and I'm studying at her house!  I guess you could say that we're a little turned around this evening, but nonetheless it's a gorgeous moment for many reasons, but one in particular is Kristine just recently got a call from a job she applied to in Eugene! WOOOHOOO!!! So exciting! Stay tuned for more updates on what may turn out to be her "dream job!"

Nick is studying his butt off! One test down, two to go for the week! And Kris is finishing up her first application to a job in OREGON!!! Whoa! Both just finished having an awesome dinner and an awesome evening alongside each other... :)

Finally sharing our first kiss back together!!! What a happy Sunday! Seems like too many things on the to-do list though...studying like crazy for Nick, trying to find homes in one tiny apartment for the generous shower gifts from the weekend, getting ready for the work week, making a dinner out of the only scraps left in the fridge...And having the fairly legitimate looming feeling that this week is going to be a doosy.... :)

Once again Benny is keeping me company as I head into my 11th hour of study-time today, thanks pal! Kris just wrapped things up at her wedding shower in KC - sounds like it was a perfect day with friends and family!  Wishin there was ice cream in the freezer......ice cubes will have to do for now......

An unfortunate 9:30 ice cream tonight as my lady and I are separated by 16 blocks of distance.  Kris just accepted a long days worth of go-time and fatigue as she lay her head down for a peaceful night of rest (hopefully!).  She is currently babysitting a co-workers two wonderful children through the night......I was over there earlier and witnessed several glimpses of the mother that bubbles within......the most patient and loving heart I've ever known - our future children (God willing we are blessed with any) are so lucky!  As for Benny and I, we're listening to pandora country music and studying everything there is to know about diabetes and a variety of psychiatric illnesses.....3 more tests and I never have to step foot in a classroom again!

Benny the jet is overly zealous this evening as he is currently figuring out every way possible to scratch us with his plastic nylabone, lil rascal you! As for us it's been a day of ups and downs, money seems to put an interesting twist on life.....
